Music and art have always played a large part in Destiny's life. However, it wasn’t until the birth of her first child in 2002 that she began to focus predominantly on her art. She was met with immediate success, selling her first painting she’d put on display, receiving an award of excellence for the second, as well as her first commission from a reputable art consultant of Northern California. This was quite an encouragement to her and she sensed the Lord was developing a new area of her life. She has since continuously studied to expand and  refine her skills. She is  a part of a few local artist organizations and exhibits her work on a regular basis. She enjoys working with children and currently teaches art classes in several locations throughout the San Jose area.

About the Art Classes: Beginning with elementary drawing practices and techniques, it is my goal to develop the ability and creativity in others without diminishing the enjoyment of artistic creation. While laying a solid foundation of the principles and elements of art, I strive to equip the young artist with the tools they can use to express themselves individually and without comparison to others. 
Currently, classes our being offered in the following mediums: drawing pencils, watercolors and soft pastels.
