About the Artist

Blending the translucency of watercolors with exquisite realism, Destiny captures the raw beauty of nature in a style that is uniquely her own. She is predominantly self-taught, hence her methods tend towards the unorthodox, yielding a depth to her works that is more often associated with oils and acrylics. Be it birds, mammals or aquatic life, she finds nature an unending source of inspiration and, through her art, desires to ignite an appreciation for the gift we've been given in the stewardship of nature/wildlife and to encourage endeavors to protect endangered species by preserving and further expanding diminishing habitats.
